Job Description He/she will support global sourcing activities for all Eaton hydraulic business of oversea plants.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Supplier identification for global sourcing projects in APAC region
B. Price & contract negotiation with potential suppliers in APAC.
C. Ground support for quality,delivery & communication issues etc. with Suppliers.
D. Assist Business Units in creating long term relationships with suppliers that lead to cost reductions, quality improvements, process improvements, and on time delivery performance. (SQE)
E. New projects development working with supplier and global SCM team. (SDE)
F. Build and maintain relationships with the Regional internal customer base for more Global sourcing opportunities
G. Cooperate with commodity managers, SCM managers for strategic sourcing in APAC.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
• Engineering Bachelor degree and major in Mechanical/ Material/ Engineering is a plus
• Fluent written & spoken Chinese and English are essential;
• Minimum 6-8 years experience in a similar role with multi international company
• Understand supply base in APAC for mechanical industry and hydraulic is preferred
• Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills necessary to converse with Supply Chain Management personnel
• Possess strong communication, negotiation, project management and supplier management skill
• Ability to support to negotiate effective contracts on behalf of Eaton
