This position will be responsible for being the thought leader for the manufacturing model, design and future state factory layout. This position reports directly to the Searcy Plant Manager.\n\nOther primary responsibilities include:\n- Co-leader for shop floor scheduling and material replenishment systems\n- Identifies and priorities plant kaizen bursts\n- Leads and/or facilitates top-down & bottom-up continuous improvement activities\n- Key contributor to molding management systems to drive a fast learning, adaptive culture\n- Development of subordinates and peers in Lean.\n\nAdditional responsibilities include:\n\n- Implement systems and processes that deliver improvement toward 100% conformance to customer requirements\n- Drive rigorous metrics related to the BSC to evaluate performance and drive reduction in variability/defects in critical business processes\n- Provide site Lean and Six Sigma training and site Lean and Six Sigma mentoring\n- Provide Lean and Six Sigma support across the organization to drive short-term and long term business improvements\n- Utilize Lean and Six Sigma tools to eliminate waste while driving customer satisfaction, cost reduction, and improved working capital performance\n- Work through site leadership to lead the site continuous improvement team, and corporate Lean initiatives and reporting.\n\nBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial)is preferred with relative experience.\nCertification and experience leading Lean and/or Six Sigma process improvement projects with demonstrated results is preferred.\n- Excellent verbal and written communication skills\n- Strong influencing, negotiation, coaching and consulting skills\n- Aptitude for analyzing business needs, determine appropriate solutions and/or opportunities and deploy them\n- Lead and monitor product and process improvements and ensure quality and productivity issues are resolved by eliminating the root cause.\n- Strong analytical skills and understanding of problem solving techniques/tools including six sigma, 8D, QOS and balanced scorecard and goal setting.\n- An understanding of / experience with deployment of production system concepts.\n- Change agent \u2013 advise and counsel management in developing strategies to drive implementation of initiatives\n- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Industrial degree is preferred\nBasic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) - Bachelor's degree\n- Minimum of 5 years leading Lean and/or Six Sigma process improvement projects\nRegion North America - US/Puerto Rico\nCountry United States\nState Arkansas\nCity Searcy\nEmployee category Regular\nExperience\nLevel Minimum 5 Years\nTravel Required Up to 10 percent\nRelocation benefit provided?
