Eaton Corporation Accounting Supervisor in Queretaro, Mexico
Supervise the Accounting Processes for the SSC, coordination of supporting team. Conduct the monthly closing process.
Perform Balance sheet Review Maintain SOX and Internal Audit compliance as well as Certus system compliance as
required. Perform and Coordinates monthly balance sheet reviews. Supervise the year-end Mexico compliance, and
financial reporting. Manage and champion ad hoc projects as needed. The position drives continuous improvement in
accounting while utilizing the framework of the Eaton Business System (EBS).
Supervise the monthly closing process for Mexican Maquila ledgers,
Coordinate the Internal Control Audit and Statutory Audits with the external audit firms
Treasury, Grid Note & ZBA. Ensure correct recording in Corporate ledgers.
Financial Statements and Reporting. Preparation in Time and Form
Supervise accuracy of the Information and ensure submission in time and form
Supervise the monthly closing process for Mexican Maquila ledgers.
Supervise the process of the Corporate Payroll
Supervise the Fixed Assets and Insurances records for Acquisitions and Depreciations / Amortization
Supervise Intercompany Transactions, Supervise Income / Invoicing Records and Control AR.
QualificationsProfessional capabilities in financial accounting and Tax; minimum of 3 years of experience in finance/ accounting
and auditing within a Big 4 Firm as Audit Manager or Top Senior Auditor or multinational company . University Degree
Knowledge of Mexican statutory reporting requirements essential; sound understanding of Tax regulations
Communication skills and team work capability.
Knowledge of data processing in respect of financial systems and multiple ERP systems, particularly Oracle and SAP
Acceptable knowledge of the English language.
Exposure to US GAAP / MEX GAAP reporting requirements.
Ability to operate and deliver independently without day to day supervision.
Be highly competent in accounting.
