The center has completed its first phase of growth and has emerged as a major product engineering, design development center for Eaton’s global customers – primarily in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific regions.
Innovation Center has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Control Systems Engineer. The successful candidate will create innovative products, based on breakthrough technical ideas in the area of automated controls & intelligent systems in Industrial and Vehicle domain. The incumbent applies dynamical systems modeling and advanced control theory to Industrial, Automobile and Electrical systems applications to improve its efficiency, fuel economy, availability etc. Additionally engages in planning and leading these advanced technology programs into a product. Understands the process of mapping technology solutions to market opportunities and coordinates and collaborates across multi-disciplinary globally distributed teams. Master's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Automotive engineering/Dynamics and Controls with 7-8 + years of relevant experience. PhD with 4-5+ years of experience
Background in Electro-hydraulics systems with control theory; fault diagnostics, identification and reconfiguration; distributed and network control theory.
Thorough understanding of model based design and development processes; background in classical, modern control techniques.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) Master's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Automotive engineering/Dynamics and Controls with 7-8 + years of relevant experience. PhD with 4-5+ years of experience
Expertise in modern control theory; fault diagnostics, identification and reconfiguration; distributed and network control theory.
Thorough understanding of model based design and development processes; Strong background in fault diagnostics and identification for dynamic systems; classical, modern and robust control techniques.
