Eaton Corporation Technical Support Coordinator in Peachtree City, Georgia

Eaton’s Lighting Division has an opening for Technical Support Coordinator. The position will be based in our Peachtree City, GA facility.

Position Overview:

The Technical Support Coordinator is responsible for reconciling closeout paperwork and financial transactions for connected lighting system commissioning activity by Eaton, sales rep, and contractor technicians.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Review start-up closeout paperwork to verify project completion.

  • Log and communicate job completion for financial revenue recognition.

  • Manage Sales Agent commissions compensation for start-up services.

  • Verify and process third party contractor invoices for payment.

  • Provide monthly revenue forecast based on scheduling capacity and order backlog.

  • Drive continuous improvement activity in financial recognition and scheduling processes.

  • Serve as back-up resource for services scheduling function.

  • Create monthly operational reports tracking utilization and capacity metrics.

  • Lead defining and deployment of internal system enhancements needed for productivity improvements.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer services or sales support function.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates within a 50 miles radius of Peachtree City will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with lighting and lighting control systems.

  • Prior experience managing financial transaction execution (forecasting, invoicing, and revenue recognition).

  • Working knowledge of SAP order management.

  • Prior operations experience managing capacity and backlog.

  • Scheduling and budget management experience a plus.

Position Criteria:

  • Proficient knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers via the phone, e-mail and other written and verbal communication mediums.

  • Strong work ethic, flexibility, and a desire to actively contribute to the group’s success.

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks, remain focused and reach a resolution.
