Essential Functions:

Advises and actions integration points with HR Core and Direct Access. Develops ongoing mechanisms to communicate projects, implementations, change management, and system status to the entire enterprise and HR community.

HR Systems Management: Manages, implements, maintains and supports Oracle modules (HR Core, manager, employee and HR direct access), organization and security structures, transaction workflow, interfaces, and applications, ongoing training for end users, and support resources. Responsible for the integration aspects of acquisitions and divestitures, organization restructuring, and global enterprise initiatives requiring HR systems support. Champions HR Core and Direct Access for future enhancements and integration points, ensuring input and ideas are considered from all stakeholders and from Oracle roadmap.

Shared support: Works with HR Leaders to set the direction for ongoing opportunities to leverage HR shared support. Ensures the team is focused on exceptional customer responsiveness and process improvements. Collaborates with other internal and external shared support organizations to bring new practices and processes to HR. Ensures effective communication and feedback mechanisms are in place to align Shared Support with the HR Strategy and Stakeholders.

Data Stewardship &amp; Data Protection: Sets overall global strategies and processes for data integrity. Manages data stewardship model identifying key owners of data elements and ensures ongoing processes for data validation and audits. Leverages Direct Access to continue to enable data owners to view, update, and manage their HR information (employee and team). Works with Corporate IT Security and the regions on all aspects of data protection and resulting implications for processes, tools, and compliance activities.

Testing: Establishes protocol and process for complete testing approach regarding HR Systems. Partners with Corporate IT to ensure all aspects of system testing are supported and resourced. Serves as HR lead on all enterprise opportunities involving the methodology and approach to testing.

Operational Reporting: Leads efforts to optimize HR Reporting tools and processes. Ensures key user groups including HR, Managers, Employees, and Unique Roles requiring HR reporting are able to access the information needed. Integrates ad hoc reporting support into the overall shared support model. artners with the TM &amp; OE Organization Reporting, Analytics, and Planning team to continually improve HR reporting capability. Works directly with Corporate IT Business Intelligence team on all aspects of reporting tools, support and management.

Managing Relationships: Optimizes and manages key internal and external stakeholder groups including vendors such as Oracle, Corporate IT, and Region Financial Shared Service Teams. Ensures opportunities and learnings are shared and worked across the HR Leadership and HR COEs

Position Criteria:

Job Description Eaton Corporation is seeking an EHS Sub-Regional Manager located in Cleveland, OH (strongly preferred) but will also consider candidates located in OH, IN or MI near Eaton facilities.

The EHS Sub-Regional Manager is part of a centralized, global EHS team focused on providing environmental, health, safety, and security leadership to the organziation. The Sub-Regional manager for the Great Lakes sub-region has direct responsibility for all sites within the sub-region.

The incumbent is accountable for the following within the sub-region: identifying and managing significant environmental aspects and health and safety hazards; assuring accurate and complete EHS reporting of metrics; assuring that MESH self-assessments are thoroughly completed on a timely basis; completion of required training; managing interfaces with governmental authorities; supporting actions during and following crises; and supporting medical case management.

The incumbent is responsible for providing technical and tactical support within the sub-region including: defining objectives and targets; investigation of incidents and establishment of corrective and preventive action plans; communication of regulatory requirements; identifying and sharing transferrable practices, evaluating and developing EHS talent, and providing necessary support for site EHS programs.

The incumbent may have additional responsibilities for providing subject matter expertise in areas such as: Occupational Health, Environmental Engineering/Management, Safety, and EHS Systems.

In addition, the Sub-Regional Manager:

a. Facilitates process and provides technical and administrative services such as industrial hygiene sampling, ergonomic evaluations, and energy conservation surveys to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and MESH requirements. Specific attention is needed to evaluate and ensure compliance with local EHS requirements.

b. Develops and facilitates sub-regional forums for knowledge and sharing of best practices along with general integration of EHS programs across the area including integration of Corporate, Group, and Regional EHS initiatives.

c. Establishes and shared ownership and accountability for the achievement of local goals and objectives along with timely and accurate reporting mechanisms in support of Corporate/Regional strategic initiatives designed to produce verifiable world class performance.

d. Facilitates evaluation and implementation of fiscally and socially responsible methods of reducing operational environmental footprint.

e. Supports EHS risk assessment initiatives and risk mitigation (including security).

f. Establishes and maintains relationships with governmental authorities on matters of mutual concern including voluntary certification (e.g., ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 registration, VPP, Industria Limpia), maintenance of environmental permits, submission of required reports, and maintenance of data.

g. Build organization capability by providing EHS training and development of EHS professionals to ensure each site within the sub-region has the appropriate technical and functional competencies.

h. Supports the site by developing an EHS training and deployment plan for successful cross-functional implementation of the MESH program requirements.

i. Supports the investigation process of incidents (including near misses, releases, and losses) and accidents to
determine root causes and prepares/directs corrective and preventive action plans. Identify and determine correction action for systemic EHS issues within the sub-region.

j. Supports initiatives to improve environmental conditions in the community and to foster employee wellness and off-the-job safety.

k. Supports response actions to emergency situations dealing with the environment, employees, or the community.

l. Assures that Corporate EHS requirements and programs are available or translated into local languages as appropriate.

m. The incumbent may have additional responsibilities for providing subject matter expertise in areas such as:
Occupational Health, Environmental Engineering/Management, Safety, and EHS Systems.

The primary responsibility of a Senior Technician is to perform plastic and rubber material testing in support of fluid power engineering and Eaton as a whole. Job Description Eaton Corporation located in Berea, OH is currently searching for Screw Machine Set-Up/Operators for the Fluid Conveyance-Coupling Plant. This position will work 2nd shift, training during 1st shift, and will report to a Production Supervisor.

The Screw Machine Set-Up / Operator must be able to setup &amp; operate a multi-spindle screw machine 6 &amp; 8 spindle machines. Install all cutting tools, tool holders, collets, cams, gears and bar loading. He/she will be responsible to utilize Eaton Lean System Tools. This position must have the ability to rotate between multiple work centers. Each set-up/operator has responsibility for scrap, product quality and for maintaining a zero incident safety culture.

Essential Functions:
To follow Standard Work set up/operate.
Train others to follow Standard work Combination Sheet.
Able to operate while setting up other machines.
Perform 1st article inspections and complete all subsequent inspections that follow.
Must be competent in changing all cutting tools, collets, mechanical changes, bar loading.
Read work instructions and maintain production records.
Flexible in learning other work centers.
Complete goals to achieve production targets.
Problem solves issues, suggest improvements, and take action to close.
Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
Work with engineers to improve layouts, tooling, and all process issues.

Position Criteria/Preferred Qualifications
-Vocational training preferred
-Mechanically inclined
-Knowledge of screw machines
-Prefer 3-5 years as a set up/operator on multi-spindle screw machines (ex: Acme and New Britain screw machines)
-Experience with CNC controls preferred.
-Ability to read and understand blue prints, control plans, routers, job instructions and measurement tools.
-Prefer to have own hand tools, calipers, micrometers.
-Basic shop math.
-Team oriented.
-High attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
-Ability to work independently and take direction from supervisor or lead person.
-Ability to multi-task.
-Demonstrated personal continuous improvement.
-Ability to work occasional overtime during weekdays and Saturday
-Must be able to walk or stand for 8 hour day.
-Basic PC skills (mouse / key board, internet, etc.) preferred: Windows MS applications.

The Maintenance Mechanic performs maintenance and repair on a variety of machines and equipment. Complete Preventative Maintenance tasks. Operate mechanical, precision, and electrical tools with proficiency to properly complete repairs and modifications to the machinery, building, and grounds of Eaton. He/she will be responsible to utilize Eaton Lean System Tools. This role must have the ability to rotate between multiple work centers.

Essential Functions:
-Maintain and repair metal cutting machinery, secondary machines, assembly fixtures, physical building structures, electrical wiring, and plumbing. Specifically: National Acme, INDEX &amp; Haas CNC, Brown &amp; Sharpe, Hydromats.
-Support the TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) program by learning the process, completing TPM actions according to schedule and keeping appropriate records of actions.
-Lubrication/cleaning of machines (occasional).
-Problem solve machine down time and make suggestions for improvement.
-Research / identify information for parts, place purchase orders and handle invoices.
-Trash removal / janitorial duties (occasional).
-Problem solve issues, suggest improvements, and take action to close.
-Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
-Coordinate with external maintenance/repair contractors or OEM service as necessary.

Position Criteria/Preferred Qualifications
-Maintenance / Mechanical certifications preferred.
-Basic shop math.
-Skilled on problem solving of metal cutting machines including blueprint/diagram reading (Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic).
-Experience in the operation / use of maintenance hand tools and machines including but not limited to: drill press, engine lathe, saw, electrical multimeter, precision micrometers, and calipers, etc.
-Strong mechanical knowledge of production metal cutting machines inc. basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic circuit theories.
-Basic use of MIG, gas, stick welders in fabrication and repairs.
-Basic carpentry and plumbing.
-Basic operation of production machines.
-Team oriented.
-High attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
-Ability to work independently and take direction from supervisor or lead person.
-Ability to multi-task.
-Demonstrated personal continuous improvement.
