Job Description Assists in planning and performing internal audits and special projects to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls, business processes, and procedures at Eaton operations throughout the EMEA region.

Main tasks:

• Participate to the Risk Assessment process, Identifying risks and weaknesses and to the preparation of the Annual Audit Program.
• Perform audits in assigned areas, with minimal supervision, in accordance with audit programs to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, business processes, and procedures at Eaton operations.
• Prepare written audit findings and recommendations for discussion with local management.
• Participate in opening and closing meetings and in the review of audit results with local and senior management.
• Document the work papers in a clear, concise, neat, accurate and timely way.
• Follow-Up on Management Action Plans and Audit findings remediation.
• Present Audits outcome in a clear and concise manner to Senior Leaders.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices through the use of Eaton Business System and other relevant Process Improvement tools.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) • Bachelor/Master degree in accounting, finance or Business Administration.
• 2 to 4 years audit experience. Manufacturing and public accounting experience is preferred.
• Proficient in Internal Audit key concepts and financial accounting requirements, under US GAAP / Local GAAP in a manufacturing environment or significant experience with other industries.
• Proven experience in business processes understanding, identifying risks and weaknesses, developing and executing audit procedures to assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls to mitigate the risks.
• Proven experience in documenting and testing controls in a manufacturing environment.
• Good written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and succinctly report key issues, business impact, and recommendations for improvement.
• Verbal communication is clear, concise, and effective.
• Comfortable with working in multicultural/multilingual environment.
• Strong Process Management and organizational skills. Ability to deliver expected results and meeting deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to promote ideas and to work effectively with all levels within the organization.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Fluency in English, master in German or other European languages would be an asset.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.
