Eaton Corporation Quality Systems Engineer in Monterrey, Mexico

This position will be responsible for accomplish appropriately with the procedures of ISO-9001 updated version that applies, as well as coordinate activities in preparation to the internal and external audits of the Quality System.

  • Manage all the updates of the Documents Control System

  • Responsible of supervising the inspectors and auditors activities and the development of such activities.

  • Identify quality issues that affect the production and the process.

  • Assist on the solution of problems of manufacturing area related to the quality of raw material, products and processes.

  • Assure that the processes of assembly stop the least possible due to quality issues.

  • Monitor the quality metrics of the process and takes leadership in the effective and timely solution to accomplish the goals established by the management.

  • Coordinate the adequacy and/or creation of the procedures of the Quality System as a result of the improvement actions from the improvement of delivery metrics

Qualifications

  • Five years of experience at least related to quality manufacturing processes

  • Professional degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electromechanical, Industrial or related.

  • Knowledge of blueprint reading, knowledge of the ISO9001 quality system current version, metrology, basic statistical tools (GR and R, Capability Studies, Statistical Process Control), advanced statistical tools (DOE, hypothesis testing, ANOVA ) Troubleshooting (8D and 5 Whys), effective time management, PPAP.

  • Good leadership style

  • Excellent communication at all levels of the organization

  • Teamwork

  • Highly responsible and efficient

  • Good analytical skills

  • English 90% minimum (spoken, written)

  • Office Management Package Windows

  • SAP knowledge

  • Basic knowledge of lamps - Residential, Industrial and Commercial (desirable)
