The following are the essential functions of the job:

• Assembles and builds all non-Marine &amp; Defense sub-assemblies, rotating group, pumps, and motors having close tolerances and critical operating requirements where fitting, alignment, and adjustment are precise.

• Completes all required quality and customer information on reports and documents.

• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair to full operational status, all REO and failed test stand pumps and motors.

• Sets up and/or operates all assembly department test stands without assistance and maintains appropriate requirements. In cases where automated test stands are present, operator may be responsible for the operation of two stands.

• Reads and interprets test procedures to determine if the unit meets all applicable quality and standards requirements. Read gauges as required by the test procedures and transfers applicable/required data to defined quality reports and documents.

• Interpret hydraulic schematics, pressure gauges, strip recorders and test stand "x-y" plots. Must be able to read and interpret assembly and component prints and component maintenance manuals as may be required.

• Responsible for the cleaning and packing operations required for the rotating group processing.

• Utilizes hand tools in building and testing units. Employs measurement instrumentation such micrometers, venire calipers, etc. to check/verify dimensional assembly requirements as needed.

• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in all working areas maintaining that area to the highest degree of cleanliness required for assembly operations.

• Ability to read and complete inspection ledger, inspection check sheet, operation sheet, move ticket and discrepancy report (DR) and other paperwork as necessary to comply with Quality Systems.

• Responsible for notifying supervisors when work received does not meet the specifications required by previous operators including paperwork requirements as observable.

• Performs operator defined preventative maintenance (TPM) and/or 5S tasks as required.

• Responsible for returning all tools to their proper location at the end of the shift and cleaning work area.

• Proper use of all tools and gages necessary to complete and to verify that all work performed has been completed to specifications as required.

• Subassembly operations such as, installation of pins, plugs, inserts, bearings, miscellaneous components, etc.

• Performs minor sanding, lapping, deburr or repair work as required in the course of performing the primary duties of the classification.

• Compliance to Manufacturing Self-Release Process (MSRP), and responsible for the quality of the product going to next operation.

• Responsible for safety for self and for other employees in the area.

• Other duties as required or assigned within the job classification.

The Subcontract Program Manager manages, in a matrix environment, subcontractors of critical components during the development of phase of New Programs. Subcontract Program Management focuses on ensuring Program Management discipline is integrated into the Supply Chain ensuring suppliers meet the program Cost / Schedule / Performance requirements in accordance with the PROLaunch process. This role focuses on the management of the subcontractor versus the subcontract (i.e. management of the supplier versus management of PO deliverables) from Phase 0 Concept thru Phase 6 Transition to Production ensuring maximum supplier involvement from project launch through rate production.

The successful candidate will be able to do the following:

• Align the Supply Chain to meet program critical path requirements, ensuring compliance with customer flow-down requirements (offset, DFAR, quality, etc.), and ensuring success of the overall program sourcing strategy.
• Develop strong supplier relationship modeling expertise to ensure contractual requirements are met and to support growth of the business relationship between Eaton and the selected subcontractors. Position interfaces through the Program Office, ensuring smooth flow of supply chain processes and complete alignment supplier through customer.
• Manages the subcontractor to ensure timely completion of all efforts associated with the project.
• Ensures the program selects sources in accordance with the Sourcing Strategy established by the Commodity Leads.
• Ensure the supply chain process is fully engaged from RFQ through the various reviews including System Requirements, Preliminary Design, Critical Design, Test Readiness, and Production Readiness.
• Understands critical paths with the Eaton prime program (proposal stage, pending win, win, development, test, transition to production) including supplier dependencies and new program awards
• Develops and manages project plans, utilizing the Early Sourcing Work Plan (ESWP), necessary to ensure program success
• Develops, with support of program team, required Statements Of Work (SOW) and Performance Based Specifications (PBS) on which the award will be based
• Leads review of proposal response and prepares team (procurement, technical, quality) to audit potential suppliers
• Ensures compliance with applicable contract flow-downs (FAR, DFAR, TINA, etc.)
• Evaluates supplier Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Project plan for feasibility and sufficient detail to ensure key milestones such as completion of Concept Design, Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Test Readiness Review (TRR), and Production Readiness Review (PRR) are scheduled and completed to the program plan
• Establishes Risk Management plan with the Program Manager and Supply base to identify and mitigate risks on a real time basis
• Technically astute to effectively interface with supplier, program office, customer, etc.
• Establishes the Supply Chain Integrated Product Team (IPT) consisting of Commodity Leads (sourcing), site buyers (Procurement), and Supplier Development Engineers (APQP), from both Eaton and the suppliers. This team conducts periodic Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM) to track progress between milestones.
• Vision (looking forward) to see total scope of Program progress and able to move the subcontractor along as necessary to keep progress moving (e.g. vision within Sourcing to detect other critical path processes that could impact subcontractor processes such as another supplier)
• Utilizes the TIM and IPT to ensure supplier utilizes best practice Design to Cost (DTC), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and Design for Manufacture / Assembly (DFA/M) methodology to achieve best Quality / Cost / Schedule performance.

The Engineering Stress Analyst will perform tasks in support of engineering analysis and design in areas of dynamics, and structural/mechanical design.

The successful candidate will be able to do the following:
-Preprocess, solve, and post process complex models consisting of several hundreds of thousands of elements and nodes.
-Perform linear and non-linear analysis, principally nonlinear materials and/or contact problems, such as bolted joints.
-Report static sress and fatigue analysis and determine margins of safety for all load cases, typically proof test, busrt test and fatigue test.
-Arrange a specific stress ratio to a cycle with consistent fatigue data.
-Establish an understanding of FEA of sliding contact surfaces .
-Gather knowledge of fatigue analysis in metals at the expert level, including the application of modifying factors to account for the effects of surface finish, test temperature, size, reliability.
-Perform structural dynamics analysis to predict the probability of a product surviving vibration and shock tests.
-Examine analysis to ensure the design changes to provide adequate margins to all load cases.
-Perform FEA Analysis Result Verification using hand calculations, MS Excel, Mathcad, and/or Mat lab.
-Present the understanding and ability to incorporate symmetry in FEA analysis for model simplification where applicable.
-Well-developed oral and written communication skills especially the ability to write clear, concise reports of analytical work using Microsoft Word and Excel.
-Perform work in a team environment working harmoniously with a diverse team makeup.

Position Criteria:
-Experienced using 3-D modeling techniques and be capable of modeling structural product assembly models.
Capable of generating complex 3-D meshes for high quality FEA results.

Primary Responsibilities include:

4. Manages print production on a project to project basis.
5. Monitors overall performance during all phases of the program and develops and implements corrective action and recovery plans as required.

The Technician will be part of an engineering team that certifies performance and integrity of aerospace products. Critical for success in this role is the ability to:

Job Description Eaton Corporation's Aerospace group has an immediate opening for a Product Sales Engineer located in Jackson, Mississippi.

The primary function of this role is to identify, develop and close sales opportunities for the Hydraulics Systems Division product family.

DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:


A. Support the new business capture process for OEM &amp; Aftermarket Growth Platform opportunities as assigned by the Product Sales manager

B. Identify and develop new sales opportunities, upgrades, retrofits, and aftermarket campaigns working in conjunction with Regional Account Managers and Field Sales Teams for the Division

C. Develop win strategies through effective execution of Eaton’s value cycle tools and processes

D. Lead the sales capture team through the new business proposal development process and aftermarket campaigns for the Product Family

E. Present the Eaton Value Proposition to the customer ensuring that the sales capture team secures maximum value for Eaton on awarded programs

F. Ensure effective management of sales opportunities through each stage of the selling cycle; and identify decision makers, coaches, users, technical buyers, and potential blockers ensuring their needs are met

G. Improve customer satisfaction through effective deployment of Customer Survey tools and process; and support the interview process, and close resulting action items as assigned

H. Develop intake forecast and work with the momentum team to meet annual intake objectives are achieved

I. Increase aftermarket sales performance by supporting the field sales teams by providing the required leadership, tool kits, and campaign materials at the Division to bring upgrade and retrofit initiatives to market

J. Coordinate closely with the Division's technical community and utilize strong product line knowledge when interfacing the customer

K. Support the Eaton capture team process as assigned when working on key platform opportunities

L. Champion for Eaton standardized processes for excellence
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) - Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business from an accredited institution required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Aerospace or Military Defense industry required
- Must be able to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Prefer MBA degree
- Prefer strong business acumen
- Prefer aerospace aftermarket sales experience
- Prefer ability to accomplish challenging goals and objectives year over year
- Prefer strong technical and application related understanding of Hydraulic Products including pumps, motors, and subcomponents typically incorporated in a hydraulic system, tubing or other related products.
- Prefer relationship management skills, strong business acumen, strong oral and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.

Job Description Continuous Improvement leader with responsibilities for Lean and Six Sigma process deployment at the division level. Job responsibilities include the establishment of Lean and Six Sigma strategies, which will lead to improvements in factory margin, product delivery performance, employee safety and reductions in product/process variation. Will play a major role in establishing methodologies for directing, maintaining and monitoring all activities associated with the successful application of Eaton’s Quality Award process (EBE) and Lean Implementation process (ELS). Provides direct support to the Operational Excellence Director, along with supporting other functional leaders.

Essential functions:
•Serves as adviser on Continuous Improvement policies, practices and procedures for the Continuous Improvement Director and Senior Leadership Team. This would include, EBS implementation, process improvement strategies, productivity initiatives and other programs leading to significant improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and overall customer satisfaction.
•Establishes Lean/Six Sigma strategies and execution/monitoring methodologies for the Continuous Improvement portion of the Strategic Business Plan, including growth, cost out and cultural change plans. Aligns improvement strategies to business profit plan for delivery, cost, and quality improvement impact.
•Participates as a key business partner to the leadership team. Contributes to business strategy development and operational execution of business plans. Helps to create the future state as it relates to shortened value streams, manufacturing strategies, cross-functional processes, and the establishment of uniform policies and procedures
•Proactively develops programs and initiatives that support the business strategies and plans.
•Interfaces with corporate functional and business leaders as well as counterparts at other Eaton divisions and groups. Participation in ELS, Six Sigma and other corporate groups/councils.
•Drives core Operational Excellence processes across the Operation: Eaton Business System, Lean, Six Sigma, and Manufacturing Strategy.
•Teams with Operations Leadership on organizational design and development to ensure appropriate results.
•Lead change to improve organizational effectiveness. Drives the change management necessary to implement effective programs.
•Partners with Business Unit, and Plant Managers to assess, select and develop Lean Coordinator and Six Sigma Black Belt talent throughout the operation, as well as mentoring and assisting in career management of these individuals.
