Eaton Corporation Bilingual Product Specialist in Milton, Ontario
Eaton’s Electrical Sector is currently recruiting for a Bilingual Product Specialist in Lachine, Quebec or Milton, Ontario.
The primary functions of this role are to support and implement market segment strategies to grow sales, profits and market share for Panelboards, Switchboards, and ATS product lines. To maximize both internal and external customer satisfaction and achieve strategic and financial objectives. The successful candidate will work directly with sales in a customer facing role as well as operations to ensure product line strategies are well executed. The candidate will identify, validate, and execute new business opportunities to support the regional sales and P&S/ATS marketing.
Market and Product Growth
Lead company resources and work closely with regional sales, distributors, and Gen-OEMs to achieve sales and growth objectives for P&S/ATS lines
Identify and help team deliver major sales opportunities, initiatives, Bid Manager, and new channels to market
Become the product line’s lead in the region to execute and deliver the strategic initiatives of panelboards, switchboards, and ATS
Aid the Panelboard/Switchboard/ATS Marketing group to create/implement strategic and profit plans for core and specific segments
Approve pricing for regional P&S/ATS opportunities
Support day to day customer and tactical activity as needed (order expedites, plant load planning, administration of credits and returns, supporting warranty administration, etc.)
Support coordination large-scale orders/projects to maximize on-time delivery & customer satisfaction
Support innovation and product development and updates through close coordination with plant operation, central engineering and marketing
Develop, conduct, and coordinate training for customer, agent, distributors, contractors, and customers
Support the development of supporting marketing collateral, including presentations, application guides and product aids
Market and Product Growth
Review requests from sales channel for new products, & suggest new channels to market
Provide and manage TSP / Project pricing guidelines to the General Sales Force
Work with GSF and establish DSP, EDSP and CSP pricing levels in the marketplace. Assist CSC with the administration of these transactions.
Monitor competitive products and literature and keep abreast of latest product improvements
Provide product gap analysis and develop corrective actions (product enhancement and improvements) where necessary
Support new product development programs
Analyze monthly sales & market share information & identify problem areas & suggest corrective action
Assist Product Line Strategies
Identify and manage cost reduction opportunities
Participate and provide input into annual Strategic/Profit and Market Planning period
Bachelor’s degree or College diploma (CET) in Engineering or business from an accredited institution.
Candidates must reside within 80KM from Lachine, QC or Milton, Ontario to be considered.

3+ years’ experience in sales, marketing and/or engineering related to power distribution products
1+ years’ experience dealing with commercial aspects and pricing
Strong technical product knowledge of electrical distribution and control systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
Knowledge of power distribution, breaker and switchgear products
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong presentation skills and public speaking experience
Demonstrated problem-solving ability and an innovative mind set
Ability to work both independently and in team environment
