Job Description Eaton Corporation, a diversified industrial manufacturer, has an opening for a full-time Environmental, Health &amp; Safety (EHS) Coordinator at its Aerospace facility in Jackson, MI. This position is responsible for driving safety, health and environmental improvements for the facility toward an ultimate goal of zero injuries, illnesses and non-conformances.

Key functions are as follows:

A. Directs site in achieving EHS targets &amp; objectives. Directs development, maintenance, and achievement of goals in support of corporate and business group EHS strategic initiatives.
B. Responsibilities include safety, security, energy usage, waste disposal &amp; facility maintenance.
C. Facilitates risk assessment at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects. Works with leadership team to create targets and objectives based on key EHS risks.
D. Determines appropriate leading and lagging indicators to track performance against targets and objectives.
E. Supports creation of EHS goals for the site manager and appropriate activity based goals for the leadership team, functional managers, and front-line supervisors to drive EHS culture, compliance, and results.
F. Works with MESH element champions to facilitate their engagement in ownership of the MESH elements.
G. Drives and promotes zero incident EHS culture throughout site.
H. Creates and facilitates EHS engagement through EHS team to accomplish the established targets and objectives for the year.
I. Works with leadership team and MESH element champions to complete an annual evaluation of compliance for EHS country, state, and local regulations.
J. Pursues third party recognition for programs that establish the site and Eaton’s EHS program as world class.
K. Uses established EHS data processes such as MESH Suite to manage data such as injuries and illnesses, environmental metrics, risk assessments, EHS action items and other pertinent information.
L. Incorporate annual safety &amp; health training in the site’s training plan and ensure all training is conducted as planned and tracked to completion
M. Work with site leadership team and facilities to ensure that all key EHS operational controls are in place and that EHS action items are resolved on a timely basis.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of one year of EHS experience within a manufacturing environment
• Must be prequalified to work on defense projects, per the state department ITAR regulations.

Preferred Experience and Education:
• Knowledge of Eaton, industry, state, and country EHS requirements.
• Strong knowledge of EPA, OSHA &amp; DOT federal, state and local regulations
• Prior experience or education with an emphasis in environmental, health and safety program management and employee training.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001.

Job Description Working within a collaborative cross-functional team, Responsible for the assigned manufacturing processes including equipment specification, tooling design, gauging, quality, and efficiency. Provide on-floor process information for training and meeting engineering standards.

Represent the Jackson plant in new product and program launches.
Develop appropriate pricing and delivery from approved Aerospace suppliers to support customer demand.
Participate in cross-functional project teams (ProLaunch, Cost-Out, etc.).  This position works in a team atmosphere with Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, Operations, Program Management, and other Supply Chain members.
Ensure the prototype acquisition process is in compliance with Supply Chain Management (SCM) policies and procedures.
Manage the PCN process from the supply chain perspective to ensure that part master and BOM integrity is developed and maintained.
Develop and document department procedures as required.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with suppliers and the customer.
Balances current and future demand requirements with manufacturing and suppliers. Must have sound knowledge of MRP processes.
Actively participate in the identification of root cause and development of corrective actions for on time delivery misses to the customer.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required.
Minimum 1 year of experience in Supply Chain activities.

Works with customer and Marketing to resolve differences.
Improves design, production, and test procedures through determining the cause of test failures.
Interprets the technical performance of our products to the customer so our products are used properly and performance requirements are valid.
Supervise the manufacturing of prototype hardware as necessary.
Coordinate and review activities of less senior engineers as necessary.
Lead product design efforts using Eaton’s PROLaunch new product design process and the imbedded Design for Six Sigma tools.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) Basic Qualifications:
-Master's Degree in Engineering and five (5) years experience in hose design, or a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and eight (8) years of experience in hose design.
-Four (4) years of direct experience in the manufacturing process of hose construction.
-Must be prequalified to work on defense projects, per the state department ITAR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Working knowledge of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), Six Sigma methodology, Failure Modes and Effects.
-Familiarity/experience with machining and metal forming operations and part design.
-Ability to read blueprints.
-FEA experience (ability to understand results and to direct analyses by support group through the definition of boundary conditions and load conditions.)
-Aerospace experience
-Masters Degree in Engineering

Job Description Eaton Corporation's Aerospace Group has an opening for a Finance Manager supporting our Conveyance Systems Division. The preferred location for this position is Jackson, MI.

PRIMARY FUNCTION
Leads Divisional Manufacturing Operations Finance activities including achievement of plant and divisional operational performance targets (e.g., balanced score card metrics) including cost, efficiency and working capital metrics and to drive analysis and decision making support for operational planning and management. Report, analyze and recommend actions to improve performance, implement standard processes and strengthen financial controls.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
A.  Direct manufacturing operations financial analysis and reporting to support project and operational reviews. (i.e. monthly BOS reviews, sourcing decisions, annual profit plan, monthly rolling forecasts and other performance measurement needs)
B.  Provide direct support to the Director of Operations, including analysis of Division manufacturing operations financial performance, and developing strategic manufacturing analysis and recommendations.
C.  Ensure plant compliance with internal controls requirements including receiving and shipping cut-offs, cycle counting and physical inventories, excess &amp; obsolete inventory and warranty financial treatment, and other operations-related activities.
D.  Review, analyze and approve all capital appropriation requests (CAR’s) to understand and ‘sign-off’ on the financial justification of the project; present projects to management.
E.  Monitor and report the progress of capital spending to original plan, and the status of appropriations in review. Review post-project audits submitted by the plants and prepare final &amp; interim post audits for divisional projects.
F.  Develop manufacturing operations guidelines and targets to support timely and credible annual profit plan and monthly rolling forecast submissions.
G.  Representing the Finance function, serve as a key member on multi-functional process improvement teams.
H.  Prepare financial analysis as needed to support management in decision making process (make vs. buy, terms analysis, etc.)
I.  Analyze trends and provide early warnings guidance on potential risks &amp; opportunities to the Division operating performance; make recommendations to management to solve or avoid risks and realize opportunities.
J.  Provide on-the-ground financial support for manufacturing operations issues or identified gaps at Divisional sites.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA, CMA/CIMA or CPA desirable.
• Experience in aerospace, foreign exchange, and transfer pricing would be preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and computer skills
• Knowledge of accounting principles – GAAP.
• Knowledge of financial and managerial accounting.
• Knowledge of corporate policies and procedures.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) • Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 5 years accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing plant environment
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
