ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manage customers IT portfolio by prioritizing and aligning IT initiative with strategic goals and key value add opportunities.
• Acts as an internal consultants to the business unit management teams (VP’s, directors and mid level managers) to develop, define, and prioritize work &amp; project requests.
• Prepare and manage customer IT Profit Plan and Book of Business.
• Recognized throughout Eaton IT and businesses as a key reference for applications systems and
technology information.
• Coordinates with business unit IT on recommended processes, systems and technology to be used within APAC.
• Provides support to APAC senior management to build business cases in applying Information
Technology and Systems to improve operational effectiveness
• Develops application and integration roadmaps which support business partner objectives.
• Develops clear, concise and verifiable metrics, requirements and project definitions, including business
case and budget development.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Project Managers in successful delivery of projects and programs.
• Provide strong governance to projects/programs with budgets ranging from $50k USD - $2m USD and ensures compliance with Eaton’s project management methodology (PROLaunch).
• Drives, deploys and manages the use of EBS and associated tools within the IT function.

EDI analyst is required to manage implementation of EDI products and services for new and existing trading partners, by coordinating all activities including initial stages of contact, developing requirements definition, construction, testing and the roll out while working very closely with trading partners and other team members. The Senior Analyst IT Applications will be responsible for:
A. Relationship Management

The key responsibilities of this position includes:
Relationship Management:
Communicate Eaton’s objectives and expectations to Suppliers and Customers and communicate the IT Value proposition to all business partners. Represent the needs of the Customer in non-customer facing activities by effectively collaborating on IT &amp; Customer initiatives through understanding the needs of the Customers. Interface with project / program / portfolio managers to understand constraints &amp; priorities.

Business Process Knowledge:
Understand and articulate the end-to-end workings of a particular business process and the effects of change across the process. Partner with the business process team and identify opportunities for accomplishing a given objective by contributing to and participate in business process transformations. Pro-actively recommend improvements and articulate expected benefits. Appropriately apply ELSS (Eaton Lean Six Sigma) tools to a business process. Provide input to EBS scorecards.

Solution Design:
Understand the customer’s overall business need and interrogate further to understand underlying needs and expectations. Interpret technologies (or other solutions) available, and create a realistic approach to resolve the business issue including defining cost model for solution set. Investigate technical experts or suppliers for potential solutions. Develop physical and/or logical representations of the solution of the future state, with an approach for validation with the customer. Evaluate proposed solutions in order to be consistent with strategies and stated directions by effectively applying IT architectural standards to balance needs for creative solutions against risk. Partner with the implementation team for requirements definition to ensure solutions are achievable. Involves research and the introduction of appropriate technology for innovative opportunities.

Project Management:
Manages small projects &amp; change requests, using basic project management techniques of planning, coordination, direction, and timing of the various phases in the project life cycle. Work with all stakeholders to provide estimates of resources, costs, and benefits of the project. Work with business team to resolve significant variances and project issues by assessing and mitigating project risk. Document and manage project scope through creation of a project plan in terms of work breakdown structure, effort, and schedule. Utilize an understanding of project management disciplines (such as PROLaunch) and the ability to apply those disciplines as appropriate based on project size, complexity, cost, and risk.

Solution Delivery:
Understand potential business solutions by identifying multiple alternatives for each business need, including 3rd party solutions in addition to internal ones. Make recommendations to business team as to the risk, impact, benefits, and return on investment. Coordinate delivery activities across multiple disciplines for priority / scheduling needs through articulating details at a task level to those responsible. Manage timelines for small implementations / improvements and leads the communication process.

Service Management:
Troubleshoot production problems and identify and implement the proper fix. Provide functional transparency in customer support including appropriately documenting cause and solution to enable knowledge transfer. Proactively identify areas where improvements can be made to prevent future production incidents and implement the solution before the problem occurs. Understand key performance indicators (KPI) for production support, monitors current levels and trends over time, and use this content to drive continuous improvement. Look for root cause and permanently resolve problems by participating in / performs QOS / 8D actions.

This position will be a member of the Enterprise Business Intelligence (EBI) Team and will work with team members and customers across Eaton sectors to design enterprise and Corporate Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.

Essential Functions:

• Works with the project business analysts (BA) to understand business requirements
• Uses deep understanding of the Oracle BI packaged applications data model/metadata (RPD) and reports to identify gaps between the business requirements and the packaged analytics solution.
• Designs extensions and/or customizations to the data model/metadata (RPD) to bridge the gaps
• Considers maintainability and performance in all designs. Works with the technical/governance team to ensure a highly performing design

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Primary Function:
The Non Functional Test Automation Lead will be a key role within the Core Functions of QA CoE.
• Non Functional Test Automation Lead will be responsible for building the core capabilities of non-functional testing such as performance testing, security testing, and reliability testing etc. for applications/systems across the organization.

Job Description Eaton Corporation EMEA has an opening for an Oracle e-Business Suite Configuration and System Administration Specialist to serve as a member of the Oracle e-Business Suite Configuration team. The primary function includes but is not limited to: to guide implementation and project teams in gap mitigation approaches that exploit the functional capability of the Oracle e-Business Suite modules and are in compliance with our single instance standard implementation strategy. The Oracle e-Business Suite Configuration Specialist is recognized as the subject-matter expert on Oracle e-Business Suite module functional configurations and system administration.

Essential functions include but are not limited to:

- Responsible for ensuring world class functioning of all Oracle e-Business Suite environments for global and site configuration, planning, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle e-Business Suite instances. Areas of knowledge will span e-Business Suite Manufacturing, Projects and Services, Order Management, Sourcing, Finance and iStore modules as well as Siebel CRM.


- Carry out policies and procedures relating to all phases of Oracle, SOX compliance, and best practices across the Eaton’s Electrical Sector implementations.

- Manage all aspects of Oracle e-Business Suite application security including user accounts, roles, responsibilities, and menus. Provides solution design input for all modules and system administration for all of the Oracle e-Business Suite modules including the configuration and management of system setup options, profile values, descriptive and key flex field options, alerts, workflows, Application Object Libraries (AOL), and personalizations for multiple instances supporting the full lifecycle of multiple Oracle e-Business Suite projects. Responsible multi-org design, standardization, configuration, and validation within a single global instance.

- Work collaboratively with other IT and business personnel to deliver projects on-time and within budget.

- Take charge of issue resolution and communicates to management; articulate resulting effect on project scope and timeframe and budget.

- Recommend appropriate actions on issues in order to minimize project risk. Ability to solve problems independently, quickly, and completely, and to communicate them clearly to peers, customers, and upper management.

- Actively mentors others and transfers knowledge and expertise to peers, subordinates, cross-functional teams, and leadership. Assists in the development of Oracle e-Business Suite coding and naming standards to ensure that the development of code is uniform and reusable globally.

Prefered location of this position is Austria (Schrems, Vienna)/ Spain (Derio) / Czech (Suchdol) / Netherlands (Hengelo).
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) Masters / Bachelor degree required or equivalent work experience.

Must have proven experience configuring and administrating in global Oracle e-Business Suite environments.

Demonstrated ability to contribute to team standards required.

Broad business process knowledge and solid understanding of workflows and process diagrams is mandatory.

Must demonstrate excellent proficiency with the English language (written and verbal).

Application knowledge in the areas Oracle e-Business Suite Manufacturing, Projects and Services, Order Management, Sourcing, Finance and iStore modules as well as Siebel CRM is desired.

The primary function for this include:

The candidate will be spearheading the implementation of global HR analytics using Oracle BI tools and Informatica. This position will be dedicated to HR BI applications and responsible for technical/functional analysis and design and will work with HR business analysts to understand reporting and data requirements. This position will be responsible to:
• Understand the HR OBIEE RPD and data mappings
• Identify gaps between requirements and the ‘out of the box’ data model
• Design the RPD changes and ETL changes
• Work with the Central Solution Team to insure use of standards and best practices and for change management.
• Develop RPD changes
• Direct developers in development of RPD and Informatica changes related to the extensions to the HR modules.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) 1. Has 6+ years in IT with experience in business intelligence including relational data modeling, report design, and ETL processes
2. Demonstrated expertise in the BI application lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, scheduling, documentation, and production management.
3. Demonstrated expertise in OBIEE analysis and design including
• Identification of extensions needed to the OBI data model
• Design and development of the RPD extensions
• Design of reports and dashboards
• Design of data mappings
• Design of Informatica processes
4. Fundamental understanding of the Oracle BI Apps HR module OR sound functional understating on the HR area of Oracle E-Business Suite
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Ability to solve problems independently, quickly, and completely, and to communicate clearly to management and peers
7. Ability to concisely organize and present written technical data
8. Demonstrates a sense of urgency
9. Works well within a team
10. The candidate should have worked in an onshore-offsite model

- Responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise-wide Oracle-based application systems.

- Assists in project implementations around the globe by providing development of Reports, Interfaces, Conversions and Extensions
- Provide production support as needed for already developed system components
- Participate in CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings to recommend solutions to needed requirements. Customizations should be avoided in favor of out-of-the-box solutions. If solutions are to be developed from scratch, scalability and reusability of those solutions is the key.
