Job Description Eaton Corporation located in Cleveland, OH has an opening for a Director – HR Systems and Shared Support. This position has overall accountability for the management and governance of Eaton’s global HR Systems and HR Data to meet corporate, legislative, regulatory and local HR data requirements and to support Eaton HR processes, programs and policies. In this role, the incumbent sets the overall vision, strategy and direction for the HR Systems and Shared Support Architecture, including HR Core and Direct Access, HR Data Stewardship, HR Operational Reporting, Oracle Configuration and HR System Testing. The Director HR Systems &amp; Shared Support manages the global Applications and Shared Support teams, which include 20+ employees in 5 countries.

Essential Functions:
Governance: Provides strategic direction and guidance regarding implementation and support of technology solutions, upgrades, and new implementations to process owners in the HR Centers of Expertise (COEs) and HR leaders at the Corporate, Region and Sector levels. Advises and actions integration points with HR Core and Direct Access. Develops ongoing mechanisms to communicate projects, implementations, change management, and system status to the entire enterprise and HR community.

HR Systems Management: Manages, implements, maintains and supports Oracle modules (HR Core, manager, employee and HR direct access), organization and security structures, transaction workflow, interfaces, and applications, ongoing training for end users, and support resources. Responsible for the integration aspects of acquisitions and divestitures, organization restructuring, and global enterprise initiatives requiring HR systems support. Champions HR Core and Direct Access for future enhancements and integration points, ensuring input and ideas are considered from all stakeholders and from Oracle roadmap.

Shared support: Works with HR Leaders to set the direction for ongoing opportunities to leverage HR shared support. Ensures the team is focused on exceptional customer responsiveness and process improvements. Collaborates with other internal and external shared support organizations to bring new practices and processes to HR. Ensures effective communication and feedback mechanisms are in place to align Shared Support with the HR Strategy and Stakeholders.

Data Stewardship &amp; Data Protection: Sets overall global strategies and processes for data integrity. Manages data stewardship model identifying key owners of data elements and ensures ongoing processes for data validation and audits. Leverages Direct Access to continue to enable data owners to view, update, and manage their HR information (employee and team). Works with Corporate IT Security and the regions on all aspects of data protection and resulting implications for processes, tools, and compliance activities.

Testing: Establishes protocol and process for complete testing approach regarding HR Systems. Partners with Corporate IT to ensure all aspects of system testing are supported and resourced. Serves as HR lead on all enterprise opportunities involving the methodology and approach to testing.

Operational Reporting: Leads efforts to optimize HR Reporting tools and processes. Ensures key user groups including HR, Managers, Employees, and Unique Roles requiring HR reporting are able to access the information needed. Integrates ad hoc reporting support into the overall shared support model. artners with the TM &amp; OE Organization Reporting, Analytics, and Planning team to continually improve HR reporting capability. Works directly with Corporate IT Business Intelligence team on all aspects of reporting tools, support and management.

Managing Relationships: Optimizes and manages key internal and external stakeholder groups including vendors such as Oracle, Corporate IT, and Region Financial Shared Service Teams. Ensures opportunities and learnings are shared and worked across the HR Leadership and HR COEs

Position Criteria:
- Experience with regional and global operations including managing a global team
- Shared Support and HR Service Delivery experience
- Demonstrated experience utilizing project and organizational change management methodologies

- Partner with HR organization to implement standardized global HR processes, identify best practices.
- Act as the primary interface with Works Councils, Trade Unions and other employee interest groups. Support community efforts and relationships.

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) - Bachelor degree required, Master Degree preferred. Fluency in German and English

• Oversee the process of hiring new employees, through the design and collection of signature in the relevant documents, entering data in computer system integration and participation in order to fulfill legal requirements and keep you informed about their rights and duties;
• Oversee closing of the payroll through the tracking and conference activities, to make the leaf and the consequent payment to employees;
• Carry out activities related to benefits provided to employees, through negotiations with suppliers, management of company benefits, guidance to employees, developing employee satisfaction survey with existing benefits and market trends and suggest policies to provide improved quality of life of employees;
• Analysis and process changes on registration change of position, promotions, transfers between units, etc., over the allocation of data in the computerized system to keep the file updated as well as contribute to decision making;
• Represent the company as representative before official bodies, trade unions and other associations, through personal involvement and information provided to meet legal requirements and negotiated, as well as protect the company against potential fines;
• Leading and coaching teams, through meetings and providing coaching to generate results, get constant motivation and meet current standards;
• Maintain company's image with the community where we operate, through the analysis of companies listed to receive donations, establishing procedures and observation of laws, to maintain a harmonious relationship.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) • Bachelor degree in Psychology or Business Administration,
• At least 5 years of experience as RH Analyst Senior or 3 three years as RH Supervisor,
• Fluent English;
• Deep knowledge of HR Development area, Assessment &amp; Selection of talents, Training &amp; Development, Employee Survey, talents retention planning;
• Knowledge of payroll, benefits and labor;
• Microsoft Office and Oracle.

We at Vehicle Group India Operations are in search for a professional in Human Resources for our Nashik Plant.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

1. Manage and administer plans and/or programs to ensure the most effective utilization of human resources to support organizational objectives.
2. To take a lead responsibility in establishing a world-class work-environment in line with Eaton’s Core Values and Philosophy.
3. Take the lead in planning and execution the overall Plant training requirements as part of Master Training Plan.
4. Responsible for implementation of employee involvement by promoting continuous improvement projects, productivity improvement and recognition programs.
5. Take a lead in establishing and implementing in support of other Department Managers, systems and policies for recruitment, hiring, training, motivation, evaluation, compensation and corrective actions.
6. To focus on personnel &amp; IR issues and to maintain harmoninal and cordial relationship with employees
7. Partner with Plant Leadership team to assess, select, develop and retain talent at Nasik Plant

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Manage the administration of Human Resource Policies, programs and practices throughout the plant
2. Guide and conduct Employee training and development program
3. Assures implementation and administration of compensation and benefit programs
4. Works with plant management to plan and implement programs to meet human resource requirements supporting short-term and long-term business needs.
5. Assures an effective performance management process is utilized for all employees
6. Participates in collective bargaining negotiations.
7. Assures compliance to all statutory laws as applicable to the manufacturing plant.
8. Implement effective safety programs in the organization
9. Establish procedures for disciplinary actions to maintain organizational code of conduct.
10. Implement effective employee relations programs.
11. Represent and defend (with/ without external consultants), the organization in all court cases filed against the organization.
12. Develop and implement company training program in support of all Departments.
13. Maintain regular communication with the union, as representative of management
14. Develop and implement recruiting and hiring programs to meet manpower requirements.
15. Develop and administer compensation and employee benefit plans.
16. Develop and maintain systems for employee performance review.
17. Implement EHS policies and regulations in the relevant areas for the compliance with ISO 14001 requirements.
18. Recruit and hire competent candidates to fill vacancies as per the sanctioned manpower requisitions from the departments.
19. Maintain cordial relations with union representatives and build a motivating environment
20. Participate in collective bargaining and negotiate with union representatives for increasing productivity, and preventing late coming and unauthorized absenteeism.
21. Maintain all employee records as per company requirements (Associates).
22. Should have at least 5-6 years I R background and handling of union Issues. Should have experience in handling the labour Cases at Labour Office and at Civil or Criminal Courts.
23. Should have good background of Domestic enquiry and process thereof.
24. Ensure implementation of Eaton Philosophy and Work Practices
25. Normal policies which are administered and practiced in the organization, as per the Maharashtra Factories Act,1963.
26. Ensure compliance to all statutory requirements.
27. Ensure compliance to EHS in the organization.
28. Take active part in Community Development activities and employee welfare activities.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) Should exhibit leadership skills in Strategic Planning and clear cut directions on effective deployment of HR processes, guidelines and procedures stipulated by Corporate HR
Good communication skills and managerial courage

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

MBA-HR/MPM with relevant Industrial Relations experience and in-depth knowledge of all legislations as per the Factories Act.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

10 ~ 12 years overall unionized Plant Management Experience.

Job Description Eaton Corporation in Mountain Home, AR has an opening for a Human Resources Manager. In this highly visible position, the HR manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining an effective Employee Relations function for a manufacturing plant and for deploying large-scale HR initiatives, programs and processes. In this role, the Human Resources Manager will report directly to the Plant Manager and functionally to the Divisional HR Manager.

Administer employee relations policies and procedures that are responsive to the needs of employees and customers; as well as compliment the Eaton Philosophy and Values Statements.
Monitor performance management procedures to assure fair and equitable treatment for all employees. Inform and train employees of Corporate and Divisional human resources policies and procedures. Provide a resource for all managers and supervisors in the areas of Human Resources including guidance on motivating, counseling, and developing direct and indirect reports, as well as employee performance improvements. Represent the Company’s programs, policies, and procedures in matters involving EEOC, AAP, and OFCCP. Develop, implement and monitor compliance with affirmative action policies that meet federal and state legislation as well as Corporate policy.
Direct and coordinate the recruitment, selection and promotion process of applicants to meet salaried requirements. Coordinate training and development programs, including new employee orientation, to meet the needs and objectives of individuals and departments. Manage the performance appraisal system, salary planning and the OCA process. Conduct, coordinate and monitor employee meetings and involvement programs. Represent the Mountain Home, AR facility in community activities. Administer local charitable contributions, including United Way.

This position includes a Variable Pay Plan (VPP).
