Eaton Corporation Project Leader.MFG.Production in Haina, Dominican Republic

  • Provide overall leadership and direction in support of Controls and Protection Division projects. (Will include Six Sigma, Lean, ProLaunch activities).

  • Define and lead projects to improve and optimize processes and industrialization of new products into existing and/or new plants.

  • Define and lead process improvement projects with previous exposure to SCM, plant operations, CI Leadership, industrialization of products, manufacturing Engineering, and financial management.

  • Lead weekly reporting of progress to key business leaders.

  • Monitors performance of Production/Quality/Delivery of transferred products, machines & processes during the launch period.

  • Maintains on-track the capital spending/appropriation and expenses required for the project.

  • Ensure that all activities related to the receiving site are aligned with the timing and budged required to achieve the cost out targets for the project.

  • Supports the organizational capacity, training and development plan to achieve the required level of knowledge of the transferred product & processes.

  • Lead continuous improvement projects that impact CPD productivity & efficiency. Manage Productivity measures and provide analysis, trends and improvement as needs, based on productivity and efficiency indicators.

  • Identify and remove barriers to ensure progress and to mitigate risk, escalating to as needed. Provide all resources needed to ensure that all MESH policies and procedures all performed by his/her personal under his/her supervision.

  • Establish required connections across multiple functions (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply chain) to ensure project execution and deliverables.

  • Builds a high performance integrated team environment and maintains a well-informed and cohesive team across the various functional areas and /or geographical regions at all times.

  • Gains others’ support for ideas, proposals, projects, and solutions. Anticipates the likely effect of actions and decisions on team members. Adjusts leadership style and is able to be a change agent.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the electrical manufacturing industry

  • Proficient English Skills

  • Proficient knowledge: Windows, Microsoft Office, Oracle

  • Has PM functional knowledge expertise combined with a strong process and system thinking

mindset in order to consistently make quality operational decisions when ambiguity may exist.
