Eaton Leadership Development Program – Engineering & Technology will prepare participants for future functional and/or technological leadership positions by offering value added rotational assignments in which candidates will have the opportunity to gain engineering design and development experience with Eaton’s new products and technologies. The participants of this program at Eaton India Innovation Center would complete two or three rotations in different groups and growth technologies in product design or program/ project management focused on new products and cross business innovations within business groups and the corporate innovation center.

Participants will have a high level of interaction with Eaton Engineering Leadership team and also participate in organization level initiatives apart from assigned job. There would be training and development focusing on both Leadership and Technical Competencies.

Participants will be expected to formally present project updates to Engineering Leadership and will receive multiple opportunities for networking and formal training.

After the two years of rotational assignments the participants will be taking up leadership roles at various levels based on their experience, demonstrated competencies and potential.

  • Perform & lead engineering assignments, understand products & technologies, testing & specification of projects.

  • Drives results for self & team. Should be tech savvy.

  • Utilize DFSS concepts, DFMEA, Risk Management & DVPR for new product development &/or existing product improvements.

  • Execute proto-type build, performance / durability testing, teardown of proto-type samples to evaluate product performance against customer requirements for concept level ideas as well as detailed design before product launch

  • Creates and sustains process for design standards and procedures governing product design methods, documents and data control for the associated business group.

  • Develop understanding of manufacturing processes to improve new and existing designs.

  • Maintain credible communication practice with external customer on technical clarifications, testing & resolving of field failures.

Qualifications

Required: Master Degree in Engineering.

Clear Communication both written and spoken.
