Additionally, provide quality support with the development and introduction of new and prototype superchargers for the U.S. and overseas markets.

Functional Skills:
•Assure meaningful and measurable quality requirements are applied to the Supercharger product and manufacturing operations.
•Develop, implement, maintain and report data from a plant-wide statistical process control program, including review of data collection methods and applicability of data to operator control.
•Report root-cause analysis and corrective actions on customer returns back to the customer.
•Assist in planning and implementation of Dimensional Control Plan (DCP).
•Provide quality related data and assistance for problem solving.
•Track customer satisfaction on PPM, delivery and any other customer metrics
•Assist in the preparation of customer required reporting.
•Conduct customer visits as needed, internally and externally. Drive closure of any open actions as a result of the visits.
•Manage any necessary containment and sort activities at the customer.
•Complete PPAPs for assigned customers as needed.
•Support the plant Quality Management System, including Quality System audits.
•Drive root cause analysis and corrective action implementation on customer and plant defects.

Preferred:
•Knowledge of Engineering techniques and manufacturing processes.
•Knowledge of statistics and statistical process control, including gauge repeatability and reproducibility studies.
•Knowledge of Metrology, including CMM application and programming preferred.

This role is responsible for managing key material related functions such as materials planning, scheduling and ordering activities associated with the delivery of specific customer products. The Senior Planner will manage and direct in the receipt, utilization, and inventory of materials to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders while maintaining assigned inventory levels. Critical for success in this position is the ability to:

A. Manage current and future demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements. Will lead their respective teams in these processes.
B. Ensure required documentation and/or system transactions are executed to allocate, purchase, internally manufacture or reschedule material as required
C. Must have a sound knowledge of MRP processes and familiarity with MFGPRO planning logic.
D. Analyze data, including enterprise requirements planning information and prepare consolidated managerial reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure plant/product line optimal supply chain execution
E. Ensure correct planning parameters are utilized in order execution systems (such as MFGPRO) to ensure proper order generation
F. Manage material flow (WIP – known good parts) through analysis of diverse reports, performing critical analysis to avoid operation disruptions caused by material availability constraints.
G. Analyze and manage aggregate inventory levels in relation to customer requirements to meet profit and inventory targets and goals
H. Manage the work order function, which entails, but is not limited to, manipulation of MRP planning parameters, creation/closure of all work orders based on established ERP best practices.
I. Evaluate operational performance of the group in order to facilitate performance management.
J. Review and manage non-conforming material processes within the planning team
K. Support and promote continuous improvement activities within the planning team and the plant
L. Assist in the development and implementation of procedures and techniques which will improve planning functions.

Preferred Experience and Education:

- MBA or Master’s degree
- APICS certification
- Previous managerial experience is preferred
- Thorough knowledge of Aerospace industry, complex machined materials management, lean manufacturing, MRP/ERP, and MFG Pro a plus.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization (customers, marketing, engineering, quality, and manufacturing) is key.
- Desire to work in a collaborative environment with strong ability to take action and get results.
- Ability to quickly analyze, identify and implement opportunities and corporate initiatives for improvement that have measurable dollar impact each year. Change management skills a plus.
- Strong influencing, negotiation, coaching and consulting skills.
- Six Sigma Certification a definite plus.
