Eaton Corporation Region Manager, Northeast in Galesburg, Michigan

Deploy and manage all processes within the Northeast region to meet RFM objectives. The initiatives to drive include but are not limited to the following: Leadership, sales incentives, revenue programs, policy budgets, aftermarket business, Marketing Communications initiatives (trade shows, translations, magazine adds), P & L management , contract reviews, manage in country OEM relationships at all levels of the OEM (Pres, VPs, salespersons, etc). Manage relationship at all levels with territory dealerships (Dealer Priniciple, Sales Manager, Service Managers, Parts Managers). Manage relationship at parts distributor ships (Pres, VPs, Manager, Sales team members).Define, implement and manage country field sales, service, aftermarket and marketing strategies.

  • Define, implement and manage country field sales, service, aftermarket and marketing strategies.

  • Develop and maintain effective customer relationships across all functions (Fleets, dealers, industry associations and OEMs (Sales, Marketing, engineering, warranty, etc.) at all levels of the organization including senior management.

  • Recruit, lead, and develop staff of 5 direct reports and 12 second level reports remotely located across 17 states in Northeastern United States.

  • Ensure product issues are resolved with speed, professionalism and appropriate measures.

  • Implement RFM training strategies in the region of responsibility.

  • Assure accurate reporting within the financial system, RWS and CIS II system.

  • Work in concert with RFM leadership peers to develop strategies to achieve RFM objectives within the region.

  • Ensure that all safety practices and policies are deployed within the Region

  • Support Eaton Corporation initiatives across all Eaton business within the country

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Commercial Vehicle industry

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Required Characteristics:

  • Prior direct supervisory experience

  • Significant customer contact experience

  • Experience in the following areas:

  • Customer Relationship Management

  • Commercial Vehicle Product and Application

  • Sales and Market Strategy Development

  • Negotiation

Preferred/Additional Specialized Knowledge (not required to be qualified for position):

  • Master’s degree highly preferred.

  • Global experience preferred and managing employees in remote locations

  • Knowledge of strategic and profit planning process

  • Knowledge of budget planning
