Job Description The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
maintainance and making of improvements to Eaton proprietary Bid submittal and engineering programs
Supporting the development of new engineering tools including CAD programs, databases and programming languages such as c#.
Supporting and improving the engineering processes to reduce cycle time and improve quality.
Assisting in programming automation equipment when needed including developing software to automate manual processes.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) Basic Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 3 years experience working in Computer Science field.
Position Criteria:
Proficient in use of Object Oriented programming languages such as ASP.NET, VB.NET, Java or C++.
Proficient in use of Object Model and abstraction as it applies to OOP languages.
Experience using and creating class structures in a OOP language.
Proficient in database development including tables, queries, relationships, record locking and other database concepts.
Proficient in computer programming.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SQL database or Oracle
Understanding of networking topology including Ethernet and TCP/IP.
Previous experience with electrical schematics
