The Project Manager is responsible for the use of modern project management tools and techniques to execute projects related to the engineering, procurement, and construction of electrical power system modifications. Modernization projects will relate to the electrical power generation, transmission, and distribution industry with specific focus on hydro electric and industrial power systems. The Engineering Specialist will provide technical leadership and direction for fuel, hydraulic and/or air management conveyance design teams to meet program technical challenges. Engineering Specialist will apply and verify sound design principles from proven experience to lead complex conveyance integration solutions. Adheres to and enforces interface agreements between multi-functional, multi-location design teams; defines and approves system-level and localized change and trade studies in support of program requirements with respect to weight, cost and risk. Responsible for design solutions in conveyance systems installation design and applied products. Enforces and oversees strict process control including development and documenting new and improved processes/procedures to ensure and sustain performance growth; effectively communicating the performance on the program in regards to management and customer expectations/deliverables; maintaining integrity in design reviews including Six Sigma expectations and maturation. Key to decision gate reviews and recommendations for approval to move programs forward; risk identification, documentation and mitigation.


Leads the coordination across multi functional, multi location teams to ensure design compliancy, robustness to manufacturing capabilities, inspectability and rate readiness deployment. Oversees the successful completion of qualification of products, certification of design and complete documentation required by customers and air worthiness authorities.


Fundamentals applied include: Communicate and promote Voice of Customer for positive sustained performance. Lead lean and six sigma efforts to reduce risk and increase quality. Dealing with ambiguity with proposing and championing solutions with clear assumptions, stakeholder agreements and verified pedigree.

Position Criteria:

We currently have one (1) opening for a Manufacturing Technician to work at our Denver(Aurora), Colorado plant. Job responsibilities include, Assemble, fit and mount sub-assemblies, components, and standard and near standard fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment. Perform assembly required for test preparation and final inspection. Assemble and wire units, relay panels, panel boards, space heaters, and control panels. Bend and install power cable and MTB harnesses, and power leads. Use established power checking procedures and equipment to verify electrical/mechanical integrity of units assembled. Stage parts for customer orders. Shipping and receiving duties.

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a manufacturing setting
• Experience working in a team environment
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
• At this time, relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographic area (50 mile radius) will be considered.

ADDITIONAL PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience using various tools, including: Manual/electric/pneumatic tools, fork truck, jib crane, template/fixtures, hand carts, measuring and testing equipment, storage/packaging materials and prescribed safety equipment.
• Good record of job performance, safety, and attendance.
• Good understanding of blue print/schematics, and wiring experience.
• Experience in reading control drawings and working with electrical equipment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, squat, reach to or below shoulder level, lift, carry, push, pull, and use hands to handle and feel. Job Description Eaton Corporation, Aerospace Conveyance Systems Division, has an opening for an Engineering Team Leader.

This position will be the team leader of a independent project or for a project within a Systems Integration Program. Ability to execute minor repeater risk classified programs with respect to design, execution, on-site support, manufacturability, sustaining and shipside installation activities. Executes progression of systems design, solution and installation with respect to performance, analysis, producibility, requirement compliancy, functionality, maintainability, verification, cost, weight and schedule. Understands, maintains and enforces requirements baseline and subsequent design change. Performs preliminary and detail design reviews, and integration of conveyance product considering structures, engines, and landing gear systems for major OEM's and their Tier-1 partners/suppliers. Adheres to and enforces interface agreements between multi-functional, multi-location design teams; defines and approves system-level and localized change and trade studies in support of program requirements with respect to weight, cost and risk; accountable for design solutions. Enforces and oversees strict process control and implementation.

Management and Development tasks include: Champions, leads and enforces Eaton initiatives, philosophies, ethics, tools, and expectations. Works cohesively within Eaton Leadership to develop a learning and innovative work environment. Provides performance, mentoring, motivation, feedback and coaching for subordinates. Develop and implement succession plan for critical roles and skills. Accurate, current and timely status reporting and informing to all stakeholders.

Fundamentals applied include: Communicate and promote Voice of Customer for positive sustained performance. Lead lean and six sigma efforts to reduce risk and increase quality.
Develop engineered solutions for systems integration projects to meet schedule, customer expectations and requirements baseline.
