Performs preliminary and detail design reviews, and integration of conveyance product considering structures, engines, and landing gear systems for major OEM's and their Tier-1 partners/suppliers. Adheres to and enforces interface agreements between multi-functional, multi-location design teams; defines and approves system-level and localized change and trade studies in support of program requirements with respect to weight, cost and risk; accountable for design solutions. Enforces and oversees strict process control and implementation. Management and Development tasks include: Champions, leads and enforces Eaton initiatives, philosophies, ethics, tools, and expectations. Works cohesively within Eaton Leadership to develop a learning and innovative work environment. Provides performance, mentoring, motivation, feedback and coaching for subordinates.
