Eaton Electric Division has an opening for:

Sales manager Germany (Industry and mOEM) (m/f)

Essential Functions:

  • Define and execute sales and go to market for assigned segments aligned with German sales and business units strategies.

  • Lead the sales team in the assigned segments to meet or exceed the defined targets

  • Build close relationships with key customers and distributors

  • Negotiate important contracts and projects

  • Develop a highly engaged team

  • Recruit, hire, train, develop and continuously improve organizational capabilities of assigned personnel.

  • Responsible for planning and managing the sales resources to assure that adequate coverage is applied to accounts.

  • Understand major competitors’ tactics, organization, distribution strategy, and pricing while keeping management informed of trends and changes. Understand the products and their competitive position in Germany.

  • Assure that strategic and country operation plans, major product launches, and key programs are properly planned, executed and managed.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), Master's degree preferred

  • Proven experience in developing and leading highly engaged teams

  • Proven experience in defining and executing successful sales and go to market strategies

  • Extended product and market knowledge

  • Established customer relationships within the market area

  • Time management, presentation/training skills, planning skills

  • Proven track record in value added selling

  • Team builder with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Fluent in German and English
