Job Description Eaton Corporation in Beltsville, MD has an opening for an Inspector on 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Essential Functions:
- Calibrate small hand tools and coordinate the calibration of larger equipment with vendors.
- Basic inspection of couplings and coupling components as required.
- Must be able to work with basic hand inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, optical comparators and indicators.
- Blue print reading required.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma is required.
- Minimum 3 years experience with basic hand inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers and indicators.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate Beltsville area (50 miles) will be considered for this position.
Position Criteria:
- Computer literate with basic knowledge of work and excel applications.
- Applicant must be willing to train as Fluorescent Penetrant Inspector and obtain certification within 4 month of accepting position.
