Job Description The Supplier Process Engineer will be responsible for assessing and controlling the supplier base to Eaton Aerospace Limited in accordance with business, contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Participating in resolving issues with suppliers and sub-contractors relating to manufacture techniques/methods & quality;
• Maintaining Supplier SPC records;
• Evaluating the supply base using Supplier Quality Assessment techniques – audit, questionnaire, matrices, etc;
• Approving Suppliers by conducting “desktop” and/or on-site audits of the suppliers Quality Management System;
• Ensuring that Regulatory, Customer and Business requirements are flowed to suppliers and sub-contractors;
• Maintaining Supplier records/approvals on ERP system;
• Authorising concessions in line with Company & Customer requirements
• Updating Supplier Metrics;
• Maintaining and update supplier or sub-contractor specifications and standards
• Providing external and internal Auditing with authority to accept or reject proposed suppliers;
• Participating on risk assessment project teams.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) The successful candidate will:

• have working/in-depth knowledge on Six Sigma Methodology and a full range of problem solving tools and methods including advanced statistics & TPC (Six Sigma Green status);
• be experienced in process, products and production in advanced technology environment
• have a detailed working knowledge of the industry / customer specific Advanced Quality Planning processes, product validation and approval requirements;
• be able to provide advanced analysis and feedback reports on inspection and test results to internal or external customers;
• have experience of defining and leading measurement systems analysis studies
• possess degree/BTEC/HND in Engineering/Electrical related discipline or an equivalent level of experience.
• understanding and sound working knowledge of National and International Standards, Industry related standards and regulations (NADCAP, ISO 9001: AS9100, EASA Part 21G, EASA/FAA Part 145 etc) and to apply reasoning to the interpretation of these standards would be strong advantage
• have experience of driving effective completion of projects and programs across a broad range of the businesses using quantitative methods;
• be proficient on both Microsoft Office applications plus ERP preferred.
• have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
